Continuous improvement methodologies like Lean and TPM have to hook up seamlessly with a company's culture and level of development. That is the only way they can offer the right toehold at all levels of the organization for further development, truly improved performance and the safeguarding of both. I believe in generic outlines, but their execution always demands a tailor-made approach. It's a matter of doing, experiencing, reflecting and going on to improve again and again.

Frank had broad experience in fields such as PCS, MES and continuous improvement, varying from development to project management. For European companies in the chemicals and foodstuffs industries in particular, he has helped successfully to boost the manageability of operational processes and performance.

After studying electrical engineering at the HTS in Breda, Frank began at ABB as an industrial automation engineer, then went to work for AkzoNobel Information Services and Engineering. He came to ARV Group in 2000.
